My name is Jennifer
I love to solve problems. I can be in my head for hours, processing and reverse engineering things to understand them and make them work to better some part of a system in my life.
Business is my thing I am consistently working to build better systems that are easier to use and stay compliant with. If it works for me, it might work for someone else too.
Follow along as I grow the library and see what else we can come up with to improve systems.
My Story
I never set out to build a public resource center.
This entire project began as something I created for my own team at United Commercial Services.
In the restoration world, everything is urgent, everything is unpredictable, and everything depends on how prepared your people are. I wanted a single, organized place where my employees could quickly access safety topics, OSHA reminders, sign-in sheets, and weekly toolbox materials without hunting through old emails, cluttered folders, or outdated binders.
I needed something simple.
Something consistent.
Something any supervisor could pull up at a moment’s notice.
Something my crews could rely on.
So I built it.
And once I built it, I realized something important:
If this helps my team work safer, faster, and smarter… why not share it?
Safety shouldn’t be proprietary.
Preparedness shouldn’t be hidden behind paywalls or paperwork.
Every restoration company, facility team, property manager, and partner deserves access to information that keeps people safe and reduces the impact of emergencies.
So what began as an internal tool for UCS became something bigger, a growing library of weekly OSHA awareness topics, downloadable sign-in sheets, and practical guidance designed for real-world teams doing real-world work.
This resource center is for:
-
Supervisors who need a topic five minutes before a meeting ( <---- thats me, 100% me)
-
new hires who want to build safer habits
-
commercial property managers who want to reinforce awareness
-
insurance partners who value proactive risk reduction
-
restoration teams everywhere who simply want to get better
And yes, it’s still for my employees too.
They’re the reason this exists.
At the end of the day, I believe that knowledge is only powerful when it’s shared.
If these resources can help protect a jobsite, prevent an injury, or prepare someone for the unexpected, then it’s worth putting out into the world.
United Commercial Services is built on the idea of stepping up when people need it most. This Safety Resource Center is an extension of that.
Welcome.
Take what you need.
Use it well.
Jennifer,
Founder of United Commercial Services
Creator of the UCS Safety Resource Center
